Overview

Two Pounds ("the App") is a calorie and protein tracking app. We respect your privacy and collect only the minimum data needed to provide the service.

What we collect

Apple ID identifier — a unique, app-scoped token provided by Sign in with Apple. We never see your email address or Apple ID password.
Body stats — weight, height, age, gender, and activity level. Used to calculate your calorie and protein targets.
Meal entries — food descriptions you type, along with calculated calories and protein. Stored for sync across devices.
Weight entries — weight logs you record for progress tracking.

How we use your data

We do not sell, share, or monetize your personal data. We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not show ads.

AI meal analysis

When you describe a meal, the text is sent to a third-party AI service for nutritional estimation. Only the meal description and your app language are sent — no personal identifiers.

Data storage

Your data is stored on a secure server (encrypted in transit via TLS). Meal and weight data is also stored locally on your device using SwiftData.

Data retention

Your data is retained as long as you have an active account. You can delete all your data at any time from Settings within the app.

Your rights (GDPR)

Delete — Delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete Account.
Access — All your data is visible within the app.
Portability — Contact us for a data export.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
